This article discusses about this error message Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS1705 during synchronization.
Resolution
Following steps are recommended to resolve the issue:
On PlateSpin Server add the account and permissions to the folders below:
C:\Windows\Temp folder
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET files folder and if it exists
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files
1. Right-click on the folders and select Security
2. Under Security tab, add Network Service account
3. Add Permissions - Read, Write and Modify
4. Restart IIS and retry the job
On PlateSpin Server add the account and permissions to the folders below:
C:\Windows\Temp folder
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET files folder and if it exists
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files
1. Right-click on the folders and select Security
2. Under Security tab, add Network Service account
3. Add Permissions - Read, Write and Modify
4. Restart IIS and retry the job
