Novell GroupWise 2014 R2
Situation
The client is being rolled out using the Baramundi Management
Suite. This is done using the install.bat included in the
GroupWise client download file. This installation however
halts on recently installed OSs (Windows 7 / Windows 10 x64) during
the MAPI profile creation with an error message.
The install.bat file was modified to set some additional
parameters to get a logging of the installation. During the
step "MakeGroupWiseProfile" two error messages are displayed - even
in unattended mode - making the windows installer wait for a user
response, which is impossible when the installation was run as
"local system", which does not provide any GUI from Windows 8
on.
