Environment

Novell GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2
Novell GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 Support Pack 1
Novell GroupWise Mobility Service 2014 R2 Support Pack 1 Hot Patch 1
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 4 (SLES 11 SP4)
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 1 (SLES 12 SP1)
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Service Pack 2 (SLES 12 SP2)

Situation

When trying to register GroupWise Mobility Service via SMT either to an SCC server or to a NCC server, there is an error that the repo is not found.

Resolution

This is currently working as designed.  GroupWise Mobility Service does not use the channel to receive updates at this time.  As long as the SLES server is registered, that is all that is needed.

We have also found that this is the case with SLES11SP3 and SP4 however it is not with SLES12 or SLES12SP1.  When trying to upgrade to SLES12SP2, the upgrade is stopped with an error that not all products are registered.  At this point we believe that this has been resolved in the GroupWise Mobility Service 14.2 SP1 HP2, which is slated to be released after the Christmas holiday.
