Environment
iManager
Language using double-byte characters e.g. Mandarin Chinese, Japanese
Situation
When mapping a network drive with double-byte characters (such as Traditional Chinese) in the path, after clicking the "Apply" button in Login Script tab, the double-byte characters became question marks.
Cause
iManager uses Code Page 850 (CP850), which does not support double-byte characters. When entering double-byte characters in iManager, these characters are saved to eDirectory as question marks (?). When subsequently read by, for example, the Client for OES when executing a login script, the question marks represent invalid information such as an invalid path.
