How can I tell what version of DRA I am running?

Resolution

Using the DRA Client interface it is possible to locate the version of client and server that the client using for DRA operations. This information can be useful when troubleshooting issues with DRA. It can also be used to compare the installed version of DRA to the most current version listed on the Microfocus Support Website.

The installed consoles for DRA, (the Delegation and Configuration console and the Account and Resource Management console) will list the version in the Help menu under 'About Directory & Resource Administrator' by clicking the Version button.  This version screen will display both the client version and server version.  It is recommended that both versions be the same.

Using the Web based console of DRA there is also an option to locate the DRA version.  After successful logging into the REST Web Console (Default url of https://IISServer/DRAClient) the Help menu also have an 'About' option.  This will then display the DRA Server, REST Service and Web Console version all on a single page.  The legacy ASP Web Console (Default URL of http://IISServer/DRA) will also display the version.  This information can be obtained using the 'About' link from the title bar.

Each DRA Sever will store its product version with in the Windows registry.  This path is located under:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mission Critical Software\OnePoint\Administration.  The DRA Rest Extensions will store its product version under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mission Critical Software\OnePoint\RestExtentions.
