Unable to reset password for external user in Vibe

Situation

When an external user receives a share from Vibe and follows the link contained in the share email to Register in Vibe, the registration form can be submitted more than once if the user clicks the Submit button multiple times. When this happens, the external user is locked out of the system and even the Vibe admin user is not able to reset that user's password. In this situation, the admin must delete the user from the Vibe system and ask the external user to Register again and only click Submit button once.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Vibe 4.0.2 Patch 2, available via the Novell Patch Finder.
