ZENworks External CASA returns error 500

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.4

Situation

The external CASA service, casa_atsd, returns an error 500 during the authentication process

Resolution

1. Go to the folder below:

	/srv/www/casaats/conf
	%ZENWORKS_HOME%\share\ats\catalinabase\conf

2. Open the file catalina.properties

3. Search for the entry:

	shared.loader=

4. Replace with the following line below:

	shared.loader=# List of JAR files that should not be scanned using the JarScanner,/usr/share/java/identity-abstraction/*.jar,/usr/share/java/CASA/*.jar

5. Save the changes and restart the CASA service
