Unable to save MindManager files with the Filr Desktop client

Novell Filr 2.0

Situation

When trying to save MindManager (.mmap) file directly into the Filr Desktop client the operation fails with an error about no permission or no more disk space.  There is, however, plenty of disk space and the permissions are set correctly.  Saving from Microsoft Office applications works fine.

The error is "Save the document failed.  The file is either read-only or insufficient storage, or they have to night to access the file"

Resolution

The fix for this issue will be in the Filr Desktop client included in the upcoming Filr 2.0 HP3 patch that will be released before the end of September 2016
