Situation
File Based Server Sync "System.IO.IOException: Could not create file "/mnt/target/2c2a1532/Windows/SoftwareDistribution/DataStore/Logs/edb.log". File already exists"
Error "edb.log file already exists" or "edb.log file is already used.
Error "edb.log file already exists" or "edb.log file is already used.
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
1) Complete all windows update on source machine.
2) Run chkdsk.
3) Rerun-incremental.

Cause
There could be two reasons for that either windows update was in progress or edb.log itself was corrupted. The Edb.log is a type of LOG file and record the changes made to objects in Active Directory and windows update.
