Situation

  • Jul 2016 PRU has been applied
  • Aug 2016 PRU has been applied
  • An inventory scan has been run on the devices since applying the PRU
  • The following is seen in the respective device inventory reports:
    • Internet Explorer 8 is reported as: Internet Explorer for Win32 4.01
    • Internet Explorer 9 is reported as: Internet Explorer for Win32 4.01
    • Internet Explorer 10 is reported as: Internet Explorer for Win32 3.0
    • Internet Explorer 11 is reported as: Internet Explorer for Win32 3.0

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the Sep 2016 PRU or later.
