Resolution
Understand and examine the context of any errors. If they are not accompanied by any problems such as complaints from users, data inaccessible/lost/corrupt or performance issues then the message may be benign and can be ignored.
If in doubt, contact Technical Services.
Cause
It is likely that many of these messages are mislabelled as ERROR and should instead be tagged as INFO, WARNING or DEBUG.
There is an ongoing investigation to evaluate and relabel CIFS messages in to more appropriate categories in future updates of OES. Some of these changes may come in maintenance releases for OES 2015 and some may come in OES 2017.
