Situation
Access Manager 4.1 Access Gateway installed and protecting
Web Applications. Users can successfully view the applications after successfully
authenticating against the Identity (IDP) Server.
After upgrading to 4.2, Administrator tried to access iManager from the browser and spins waiting for the dashboard to display information. After testing and verifying that everything worked fine with Chrome and Firefox, the problem was narrowed down to be with IE only, and more specifically with compatibility mode enabled.
Resolution
Disable compatibility mode for this specific site in IE (advanced options -> compatibility view settings).
Copatibility mode was enabled which prevented the page from being rendered correctly.
