OES2015, Novell User Rights Map , ERROR: Operation failed due to insufficient Privileges.

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2015 (OES2015) Linux

Situation

Novell User Rights Map throws an error:

ERROR: Operation failed to due to insufficient privileges.

Resolution

CIFS needs to configured to search the context where the user is located.  In this case user was authenticating as admin in the organization context (ie,. admin.novell).

iManager, Roles and Tasks, File Protocols, CIFS, Browse for the server object. Select the "Context" tab, Click Add, then add needed context.

Cause

NURM uses CIFS to map users.
insufficient privileges.
