GroupWise http monitor shows not listening on a GroupWise agent

Environment

Novell GroupWise 2014

Situation

GroupWise monitor on port 8200 shows not listening for domain or post office
GWHA is not automatically starting domain, gwia or post office that is showing not listening

Resolution

This is likely occurring because there is not username/password set for the problem http agent console

  1. Log into the the GroupWise admin console at https://x.x.x.x:9710
  2. Modify the properties of the problem MTA, POA or GWIA
  3. Navigate to the Agent Settings section and add a username/password and then click save
  4. Load the http console and confirm that it prompts to login
  5. Restart the GroupWise monitor by typing rcgrpwise-ma restart
