Situation

Failed to send audit report, email message, audit alert.
unifid.log reports (/opt/netiq/npum/logs/unifid.log):

Resolution

The SMTP Settings for the Messaging Component Package (msgagnt) need to be configured. Please refer to Privileged Account Manager Administration documentation: Configuring SMTP Settings for the Messaging Component Package.

Cause

Messaging Component Package (msgagnt) has a blank SMTP configuration.
