Situation

With FDE's PBA enabled, users are prompted with Novell Client login, even when Novell Client login is disabled.

Resolution

Fixed in Client for Open Enterprise Server 2 SP4 (IR3) or later.

Cause

A credential provider wrapper, (in this case FDE's PBA, though other credential provider wrappers could exhibit the same behavior), succeeds in creating an instance of the Novell Credential Provider interface, even though the Novell Credential Provider is disabled and is filtered out via of the list of filtered credential providers.
