eDirectory 9.0.0 FCS will not install on a server running IDM.

NetIQ eDirectory 9.0.0 FCS

Situation

The installation of the initial eDirectory 9.0.0 FCS aborts if the machine has IDM installed.  The following message is seen:

" ERROR : The current NetIQ Identity Manager installation is not compatible with NetIQ eDirectory 9.0.0. Install the latest version of NetIQ Identity Manager that is compatible with NetIQ eDirectory 9.0.0 "

Resolution

There is currently no version of IDM that is currently supported on eDirectory 9.0.  It is hoped a release will be available soon to add this support.
