Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.4 ZENworks Appliance
Situation
On the Zenworks Appliance Management Console the C3P0 fields in Zenworks Configuration Basic are not shown correctly. The default settings are missing, and the fields are not editable.
The behaviour is observed only on appliances operating in a NAT'ed or private network environment where the appliance does not have access to http://java.sun.com/

Resolution
Please contact Micro Focus Customer Care for a temporary fix.
Workaround:
1. Download the DTD definition from
http://java.sun.com/dtd/properties.dtd
2. Save the file properties.dtd locally on the appliance
3. Modify the line
<!DOCTYPE properties SYSTEM "http://java.sun.com/dtd/properties.dtd">
in the files
/etc/opt/novell/zenworks/datamodel/zdm.xml
/etc/opt/novell/zenworks/datamodel/zenaudit.xml
and point to the local DTD definiton
Example:
<!DOCTYPE properties SYSTEM "/<absolute_PATH>/properties.dtd">
4. Save the files and log in into the appliance admin console again.
