Situation
- Access to the configured Embedded Service Provider healthcheck URL returns a HTTP 504 error
- HTTP Status 504 - https://nam.kgast.local/sslvpn/app/heartbeat: Failed, Failed: System Down. (https://nam.kgast.local/sslvpn/app/heartbeat)
- this message will lead into the problem a Layer 4 switch will report the service as being down / corrupted
Resolution
- This issue has been addressed to engineering
- Workaround:
Use the NIDP server healthcheck URL instead.like: "https://nam.kgast.local/nidp/app/heartbeat". As the NIDP server on the NAM appliance will be accessed though the AWorkaround:ccess Gateway service a "success" message would at least indicate that the Access Gateway proxy service and NIDP server is up and running
