Situation
When trying to view an entry (discussion, file, wiki, etc.), a popup message is displayed with the following error:
Action failed:
javax.portlet.PortletException:+org.apache.jasper.JasperException:+javax.el.ELException:+Failed+to+parse+the+expression+[${exception.class}
This behavior is observed only on Vibe systems that have the database on Oracle.

Resolution
A patch is available to correct this problem for Novell Vibe 4.0 HP4. Please contact Novell Technical Support with reference to this TID and request the patch for your site.
