Unix agent events missing Policy ID

Situation

Unix agent sends events to Change Guardian with the Policy ID field not populated.
Alerts that use the Policy ID information are not working.   
Change Guardian is not receiving alerts from Unix data sources.


Resolution

To resolve this issue install hotfix 7016870 for 7.4 Unix agent available from the NetIQ Patch Finder at https://dl.netiq.com/patch/finder/#bu=netiq&familyId=43484

Cause

The Unix agent was sending events to Change Guardian that were missing the Policy ID information.
