CLE cannot connect to Server through Proxy

Situation

Can't connect to SSPR server through CLE "forgotten password" link
CLE restricted browser cannot connect to SSPR server
"Page cannot be displayed" error
"Host not reachable" error
Problem occurs when going through proxy server
Users not going through proxy server connect without problem


Resolution

Enable the proxy server setting in the Client Login Extension Configuration Utility and reinstall CLE.
If Internet Explorer is set to auto detect  proxy settings, just check the box for proxy server and leave the proxy server field empty, as shown.
