Situation

Customer needs to ensure that TLS1.0 is not used with the GroupWise Internet Agent, so as to pass security compliance checks.

Resolution

This issue was reported to GroupWise development.  This issue has been fixed in the Cornell version of GroupWise, still in beta, as of the writing of this document.  GroupWise 2014 R2 ( Cornell ) should ship before the begining of 2016.

However because of an incompability with versions of SSL used between GroupWise 2014 SP1 and GroupWise 2014 R2, this fix will only be in this latter new version and above.

The startup switch to use in the GroupWise 2014 R2 GWIA is --SSL_OP_NO_TLSv1 .
