TLS support disabled for Incoming mail server

Environment

Novell Vibe 4.0

Situation

TLS support with the Incoming mail server no longer works in Vibe 4.0 which may cause Incoming emails to fail.

The following error was logged in the GWIA log:
13:09:54 3838 MSG 5177426  Response: 420 TCP read error

Resolution

 A fix for this issue is available in the Vibe 4.0 Hot Patch 2, available via the Novell Patch Finder.

Cause

With Vibe 4.0 "upgraded" to v3.1.7 of the SubEthaSMTP server from v3.1.4 that was being used with Vibe 3.4. In the newer version, TLS support must be explicitly enabled whereas in the previous version, it defaulted to being enabled.
