"The hostname of the iPrint server does not match its certificate" after updating the iPrint plugin in iManager

Environment

Novell iPrint for Linux Open Enterprise Server iManger iPrint Plugin

Situation

After updating to the latest iPrint plugin, the message, "The hostname of the iPrint server does not match its certificate" is displayed when trying to manage iPrint.  The message is displayed repeatedly even after accepting the certificate.

Resolution

This is a known issue in the iPrint plugin.  It has been resolved in the July 2015 OES 11 SP2 Scheduled Maintenance Update located at https://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=NNZEKnCp72U~ .

Additional Information

There have been reports of the issue even after updating the iPrint Management plugin.  If you are still seeing the issue, remove the files from the /var/opt/novell/iManager/nps/portal/modules/iPrintX/certstore directory.  You will see the hostname mismatch message again but after accepting the certificate, the issue should no longer occur.
