Situation


Viewing properties of a GroupWise message prompts user to install GW00001.tmp
Can't view mail properties client
Can't view mail properties, getting the do you want to save this file GW}0003.tmp


Resolution

1. Open a windows explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\ and search for the file msxml4.dll
Note: If the file is not there, then MSXML 4.0 SP2 needs to be installed
2. After the file is there, open a command prompt and type cd C:\Windows\System32\
3. Register msxml4.dll by typing regsvr32 msxml4.dll
4. Restart the GroupWise client and try to view the properties of the message again.
