Vibe Desktop client on Mac hangs if/when the Mac's network is interrupted

Novell Vibe Desktop client 2.0

Situation

If the Mac's network is interrupted (put it to sleep, turn off WIFI, disconnect VPN, etc.) while the Vibe Desktop client is downloading files, it can hang forever. When this happens, the Vibe Desktop client needs to be restarted.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Novell Vibe Desktop 2.0 (June 1, 2015), available via the Novell Downloads.
