Filr Desktop client on Mac hangs if/when the Mac's network is interrupted

Novell Filr 1.1 Desktop client

Situation

If the Mac's network is interrupted (put it to sleep, turn off WIFI, disconnect VPN, etc.) while the Filr Desktop client is downloading files, it can hang forever. When this happens, the Filr Desktop client needs to be restarted.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.1 Hot Patch 3, available via the Novell Patch Finder.
