Novell Filr 1.1 Desktop client

Certain file editors such as Classic PDF Editor do NOT create an intermediate temporary file when an existing file is modified and the modifications are saved. Instead, these applications delete the original file, create a new file and then modify the new files with the modifications. The Filr Desktop client is not handling this series of events properly.

Note: The issue applies to other file types as well if the application used to edit them uses the same series of events.

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.1 Hot Patch 3, available via the Novell Patch Finder. With the fix in place, the Filr desktop client will be able to handle the series of events described above.
