Slow file access after upgrading EgoSecure Endpoint Client

Environment

Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows (IR10)
EgoSecure Endpoint client 5.2.682.0

Situation

After upgrading the EgoSecure Endpoint Client, file access to mapped drives becomes very slow. File access to UNC paths does not experience the problem.

Resolution

De-select the checkboxes for "Network Share and Thin Client Storage Media Control" in the EgoSecure Endpoint configuration. Navigate to:

Administration
     Client Management
          Client Settings
               Network Share and Thin Client Storage and Management

De-select the checkboxes for "Network Share Control" and "Thin Client Control", or similar.
