Novell GroupWise Mobility Service

Situation

With only one user in a group, the user won't delete from Mobility after removing from the group
Unable to remove user with added with eDirectory group

Resolution

  1. Log into eDirectory via iManager or ConsoleOne
  2. Modify the group membership that was added to GMS
  3. Add an additional user to the mobility group
  4. Poll LDAP by logging into GMS admin > Config > User Source > Poll Now
  5. Check that the user is updated under Users in GMS admin console

Cause

Mobility seems unable to remove a user if added via a group that only contained one user until more users are added
