Situation
The POA log in Verbose mode showed the following message: Waiting for busy LISTEN socket to become available.
Mail files getting stuck in the domain/mslocal/mshold structure.
Using the ps command in the terminal session it was found out that more than one MTA was running against the domain.
Upon further investigation it was found that the /etc/novell/groupwise/gwha.conf file had more than one MTA being configured for the same domain.

Resolution
Use the kill command in a terminal session to stop the MTAs.
Remove the configuration for the duplicate MTA from the gwha.conf file.
Start the MTA with the rcgrpwise command.
