LTSS channel needs to be manually enabled via the command line in SUSE Manager for SLES for SAP

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications

Situation

When the products SLES for SAP 11 SP2 or SP1 are added to SUSE Manager, the channels for the LTSS are not automatically added by default.

Resolution

Notice that you should enable the LTSS channel as well:
mgr-sync add channel sles11-sp2-ltss-updates-x86_64-sap-sp2

After that, if you want to sync that channel immediately, you can run:

spacewalk-repo-sync -c sles11-sp2-ltss-updates-x86_64-sap-sp2

                                        

Additional Information

Please take into account that LTSS channels are made available only for the time of overlap between the release of the SLES version and the SLES for SAP one (6 months). After the period has expired, you will need a real LTSS entitlement to access the LTSS channels, SLES for SAP entitlement won't be enough.
