Blank screen in Internet Explorer when attempting to get to the PUM User Interface (UI)

Chrome and Firefox do NOT have the same problem, accessing the UI for PUM diplays the login page.  This is the expected behavior.


In the cases seen, IE had settings modified to work with an older web based application, this was causing IE to run in "Compatibility Mode". 

NOTE:  If this is the case and you undo compatibility mode, the webapp that needs it may cease to function properly from your browser, you've been warned.

To undo Compatibility Mode:
  • Select Settings (the gear icon) in IE
  • Compatibility View Settings
  • Check the section entitled "Websites you've added to Compatibility View
  • Remove the domain where PUM is located from the list
  • Click Close
After making the changes, the PUM login page should appear.
