Situation
Message containing special characters sent from a Windows device appear incorrectly in an IMAP or POP client.
A Windows phone sends an email with special characters and is received and viewed in the GroupWise Client and looks correct. When accessed from Outlook or Gmail via POP/IMAP it looks incorrect; however, an Android client sends an email with special characters and is received and viewed in the GroupWise Client and looks correct. When accessed from Outlook via POP/IMAP it looks correct as well.

Resolution
At the time of writing this TID, there is no officially available patch and no workaround steps available.

Duplication steps:
- User sends an email from their Windows phone.
- Mail is received fine and the special characters look right in the GroupWise client.
- Mail is then opened from an external client via POP and/or IMAP (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and the special characters appear incorrectly.
