How to change groupwise or device application name in GMS

How to change or modify the groupwise or device application name in GMS for a particular user.
Sometimes the LDAP UserID and the GroupWise UserID are not the same, which requires the admin to update the GroupWise Application Name in GMS for the affected user(s).

1. See TID 7015282  - How to install dsapp on a Mobility server.
   Note: Once dsapp is installed, launch dsapp from the terminal window: dsapp, then proceed with the steps below.
   
   
2. Edit the GroupWise and/or Device Application Name:
   
   
   • Select User Issues | Change user application name
   • Enter the UserID of the desired user to modify.
   • Press [Enter] to keep the default or enter the new device application name.
   • Press [Enter] to keep the default or enter the new groupwise application name.
   • Verify the information displayed is correct, then enter y or n appropriately to update the data.
   • If modified, then a restart of GMS may be needed: rcgms restart.
