Custom UI pages are missing after an import of the necessary registry keys

Environment

NetIQ Directory & Resource Administrator 8.7.x
NetIQ Directory & Resource Administrator 9.0.x

Situation

Custom UI pages are still missing after saving and importing the Registry keys for them.
Why are my Custom UI pages not present after importing the registry keys for them?
A restore of the registry to the same DRA server is missing the Custom UI pages previously present.

Resolution

Custom UI pages are stored as XML in the registry of the DRA server machine.  Standard .reg files do not allow you to re-import the Custom UI pages. However, this can be done if they are saved to registry Hive files.   To do this:

1. Open Regedt32 and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mission Critical Software\OnePoint\Administration\Data\Modules\UserInterface\Settings\CustomPages
2. Right click and select Export
3. Select to export as registry Hive
4. Go to new machine and open regedt32 and goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mission Critical Software\OnePoint\Administration\Data\Modules\UserInterface\Settings\CustomPages
5. Select File | Import and import the Hive key
