Unable to send emails from WebAccess when "Automatically add signature" is selected in Options

Unable to send or forward emails in WebAccess
Sending an email doesn't save but saves as Work In Progress
Unable to view or create any signatures in WebAccess


  1. Log into the problem user's GroupWise client
  2. Go to Tools | Options | Environment | Signature
  3. Back up any needed signatures and then delete all signatures
  4. Log into WebAccess to see if emails will send or if signatures can be modified


There can be a problem with the signature that will prevent email from being sent when it tries to auto-add the signature in webaccess

In one case, the bmp image in the signature was causing the issue.  Simply editing the image in GIMP and saving it again in bmp resolved the issue
