New secondary domain installed on a new server stays in pending operations.

On new server there is GW2014 software copied and extracted and you run installation and configuration of GroupWise server that ends with webadmin console, installation where you can "Add new domain". 

You fill in all requested details and installation is finished successfully.

Your new secondary domain MTA runs and this is also visible in webadmin console connected to primary domain.

When from that primary domain webadmin console you check Domains, your new secondary domain is listed in pending state.

Going into System | Pending Operation you will see there 2 pending operations. First is ADS update usually with some update record string name and bellow is your new secondary domain.

There is no way to do anything with the ADS pending operation that blocks "unlocking" a status of new secondary domain.

  

A reason behind this problem is that during creation of new secondary domain, there were no "DC" files copied into this directory.

You can go on this new server into /opt/novell/groupwise/admin/data and copy DC files from there -> paste them into new secondary domain directory structure.

Then you can either run on the secondary domain a system Maintenance | Validate, or if you run MTA with GUI then go into Configuration | Admin Status and click there on "Perform DB Recovery" which will rebuild existing domain DB,

After a while all pending operations will be cleared from the system.
