Disabling Desktop client site wide also disables Desktop client settings for individual users

Novell Filr 1.1

Situation

If the site administrator disabled the Desktop client site-wide but chooses to enable it for specific users, the setting is ignored and no user is able to access Filr using the Desktop client.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 1.1 Hot Patch 1, available via the Novell Patch Finder. With the fix in place, Desktop client settings for individual users will be honored and they will be able to access Filr using Desktop client.
