Situation
Receiving the error - endpoint is offline when running a SQL security check
Resolution
An sa or equivalent super-user account must be specified for the SQL Server authenticated login account when registering the endpoint. Whether useing a SQL Server or Windows authenticated account, ensure that this account has been added to the sysadmin (System Administrators) role in SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
Cause
The account was not added to the sysadmin role on the SQL Server
