Situation

When troubleshooting GroupWise Client Auto-Update issues, it may be necessary to determine the workstation bump number.

Resolution

For Windows 32 bit Operating Systems
  1. Press Windows Key + R to launch the Run terminal
  2. Type regedit.exe to launch the regedit application
  3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\GroupWise\Client\5.0
  4. The value for the attribute "NewSoftwareBump" is the bump number

For Windows 64 bit Operating Systems

  1. Press Windows Key + R to launch the Run terminal
  2. Type regedit.exe to launch the regedit application
  3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Client\5.0
  4. The value for the attribute "NewSoftwareBump" is the bump number
