Situation

Upgrading from 8.8.7.x to eDir 8.8.8.x

Error: Removal of novell-kerberos-ldap-extensions was not successful.

Resolution

Found two rpms packages for novell-kerberos-ldap-extensions.

Run rpm -qa|grepnovell-kerberos-ldap-extensions to list the rpms.
In this case two rpms were returned.
Remove both rpms using rpm -e and re-run the nds-install.
