Situation

How to run dsapp general health check on a Mobility server
Perform an overall system check

Resolution

Please follow the steps below to run the dsapp general health check (ghc):

  1. See TID 7015282  - How to install dsapp on a Mobility server.
    Note: Once dsapp is installed, proceed with the steps below.

  2. To run the General Health Check, select from one of the following options:
    • (option A) From a terminal window, enter the following: dsapp -ghc
    • (option B) Launch dsapp, select Checks & Queries | General Health Check


Note: A copy of the health check log can be found at /opt/novell/datasync/tools/dsapp/logs/generalHealthCheck.log
