ZENworks Diagnostic Probe doesn't load status for server

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3 ZENworks Control Center - ZCC


When looking at the "Diagnostics" page in the ZENworks Control Center, the status for a primary server will never load, as shown in the below image:

In addition, the following error can be seen in the zcc.log file:

[ZCC] [Exception while getting data from server : <server_name>] [com.novell.zenworks.admin.pages.diagnostics.exceptions.ZENDiagnosticsException: javax.management.MBeanException: com.novell.zenworks.diagnostics.mbeans.exceptions.ZENworksMBeanException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/hyperic/sigar/Sigar


Move the sigar-1.6.4.jar file from the %ZENWORKS_HOME%\lib\java directory from a primary server that is able to load the status to one that isn't loading.  If no servers are able to load the status, contact Novell Support and a copy of the file can be provided.


This is caused by a missing or corrupt sigar-1.6.4.jar file on the primary server.  Replacing this file with a working copy will resolve the issue.
