Situation
GWIA fails to start after upgrade to GroupWise 2014
GWIA effectively started prior to the GroupWise 2014 upgrade
The GWIA configuration section of the gwha.conf file is correctly configured for the path to the appropriate GWIA binary and gwia.cfg files
The -home or -dhome switch(es) in gwia.cfg file point to the default GWIA configuration /domain/wpgate/gwia
GWIA effectively started prior to the GroupWise 2014 upgrade

Resolution
Replace the /domain/wpgate/gwia reference(s) of the --home and / or --dhome switch(es) with the correct path to the Domains GWIA directory
Additional Information
The issue was encountered on Linux servers. So, the TID is written from this perspective. Although, the issues was not seen on a Windows server, it is possible for the issue to appear likewise on a Windows server. Should this same issue appear on a Windows server, please modify / use Windows pathing structures.
