Blank or empty users showing in GroupWise Mobility Server Dashboard

Environment

Novell GroupWise Mobility Service 2.0

Situation

Multiple users with a disabled status in the GroupWise Mobility Service dashboard. When a user in the dashboard is clicked on in Dashboard, the user has no name, no email, no LDAP ID, no POA association, etc. The Initialized says unknown.

Resolution

  1. Download Novell Cool Solutions Tool - dsapp Mobility Administration to the Mobility server:
    • From a terminal window, enter the following: wget -q ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/dsapp.tgz
    • Untar the download: tar xzf dsapp.tgz
    • Run dsapp.sh from a terminal window: ./dsapp.sh from the current directory
    • dsapp.sh should now present a menu in the terminal window
  2. Select User Issues | Remove & reinitialize users options... | Remove disabled users & fix referenceCount

  3. Enter y for both permission prompts.
