iManager showing Red status on Identity Server health after successful install and import

NetIQ Access Manager 4.0


Installed an NAM 4.0 Identity Server (IDP) on the same host as the Admin Console (AC) Server. The install appeared to be successful and the IDP was imported into the AC as expected.  In the Admin Console the initial status of the IDP showed "not configure", which is normal, but it showed up in a RED status (server halted) even though the server was up and running. 

In the previous versions, the initial non-configured IDP would have been YELLOW, not RED. Only after creating a new IDP cluster and assigning the IDP server did the AC start to display a GREEN status for the IDP server,


Working as designed. Do not be mislead by the RED status - always create and add the IDP server to the IDP cluster once it has imported correctly.
