error when changing Autosync settings to use a proxy server

NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager 5.9.1


Changing Autosync settings to use a proxy server and getting a 403 error and message that says invalid property type.


DNS reverse look up (IP address to name resolution) in the proxy settings in the Autosync wizard has been removed. So, this will allow direct IP address inclusion in the proxy settings page.

Please close SCM console and copy the Netiq.VM.Autosync.dll binary from the link below in the SCM installation directory (please take a backup of the existing one in there)


If the above step, does not work, please perform the remaining step:

2. Try refreshing DNS Cache using the following commands from an administrator command prompt:

ipconfig /flushdns


We were using a DNS reverse lookup which was not resolving the proxy server name
