Error "Failed to get association list data" when viewing Bundle Relationships

Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3 Bundles

Situation

A user source was deleted from the ZENworks zone
Some bundles still had relationships to that user source
Viewing the Relationships tab for one of these bundles shows an error similar to the following:

ERROR:
Failed to get association list data: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.utils.hibernate.InvalidReferenceException: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.ObjectNotFoundException: 37b1d52a73c0f2681af7c2f5102f20a1

The following error is seen in the zcc.log from the primary server:

ERROR:
Error:  Failed to get association list data
com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.InternalDataModelException: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.utils.hibernate.InvalidReferenceException: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.ObjectNotFoundException: 37b1d52a73c0f2681af7c2f5102f20a1
    at com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.database.AbstractDatabaseTypeHelper.newStandardDataModelException(AbstractDatabaseTypeHelper.java:456)

Resolution

Please contact Novell Support if you are seeing this issue.

Workaround
  1. Copy the failing bundle to a new one
  2. Assign the copied bundle as needed
  3. Delete the failing bundle
    NOTE: The copied bundle will not retain any of the previous user or device assignments
